Traveling Trunks

Let us bring history to you! Teachers, are you too far away from Carnton Plantation and the Carter House, or unable to bring a group here? Check out our new traveling trunks that can be utilized in your classroom. You can currently choose from The Common Civil War Soldier and Civil War Medicine. Trunks feature real and reproduction artifacts, books, CDs, DVDs, and lesson plans to let you experience these two topics in your own classroom. Lesson plans in the trunks are easy to use and can be adapted to fit individual classroom needs. Each trunk features lesson plans for grades 2, 5, and 8.
