Ghost Tour

Historic Carnton Plantation has been called “the most haunted building in Tennessee,” and visitors can decide for themselves if it's true on guided evening ghost tours of the house.

Your costumed guide, staff tour guide and education director Tara Danley, will lead visitors through the house by candlelight, recounting the tale of the weeping maiden, the fiddler in the parlor and the noisy kitchen ghost, among others.

Be sure to stick around to view the pictures we've collected of unexplained phenomena.
