Carrie's
Attic is a new Girl Scout program but all girls will enjoy it, whether
they are Girl Scouts or not!
We provide your snack of lemonade and shortbread--just like Carrie
would have had!Writing with quill pens took these girl scouts back
in time!Best friends with their best friend church dolls!
Girls will:
Examine relics found on the grounds
Try on vintage clothing and hats
Make a church doll to keep
Write with a quill pen and ink
Enjoy a period snack
Cost is $8 per person, and each program lasts
about 90 minutes. Minimum 6 girls required.

Girls
get a rare treat not accorded most visitors--a trip to Carnton's
attic! Activities can be customized for birthday parties
and private
groups. Call for details and pricing.
The Carnton Plantation Patch (below left) may be obtained in the
Gift Shop for $1.95 each. A visit to Carrie's Attic filfills requirement
#5 of the Girl Scouts "My Heritage Badge" and #6 and #10 of the
"Folk Arts Badge".
Civil War Birthday Parties and Boy Scout Activities
Historic Carnton is a great place to have a birthday party for
boys of all ages. Your party will include a guided house tour,
cemetery scavenger hunt, and the chance to re-enact the battle
with cap guns and reproduction kepis. The cost is $10.00 per child.
Please allow at least 90 minutes for your party. Reservations are
